Weaving plastic rugs and carpets was started in Dalarna, Sweden in 1948 and is now carried on by Pappelina who have moved the processes on to create eyecatching and bright designs on traditional looms. The plastic for Pappelina rugs is supplied by a Swedish company that is environmentally certified in accordance to ISO 14001. Soft and pliable, dust and dirt repellant, water and UV resistant they are extremely versatile and hardwearing so can be used for any room in the house and even outside! Turn them over and the colourway is reversed if you fancy a change. Their rugs are non slip due to the material used and therefore need no extra underlays to do the job.
