Eskimo blanket is designed by Reeta Ek for Lapuan Kankurit. Reeta is fascinated by randomness and finds inspiraion in unusual places, it was the humble wooden ice cream stick that was her inspiration for this offbeat diamond design for the Eskimo. wool blanket.  Made from 100% wool, this Finnish designed blanket feels soft against the skin, a weave that is light yet warm & cosy, with a soft detailed geometric design.Fresh pistachio and yellowy green, bright & warm and a Scandi summer colour which will combine with so many other soft furnishing and home decor. The opposite side of the blanket is the reverse colourway and this fine soft wool blanket is finished with a white delicate fringe.

Reeta Ek is an MA student of textile, art & design at Aalto University of Arts, Design and Architecture, she jhas also studued fine arts. Reeta has a love of patterns, repeats and textures
