Klaus Haapaniemi’s Satumetsä (Finnish for fairytale forest) collection for Iittala merges folklore and architecture to create a modern world on ceramic dinnerware. After Taika collection Haapaniemi continued the mystical forest theme in Satumetsä design. The wintery feel of Taika has changed into a fresh summer atmosphere with shades of light blues and greens.

Each Satumetsä piece is hand crafted by applying silk screen print design to basic white porcelain before being glazed and fired.
