The Aalto vase has become one of the world’s most famous glass objects, deservedly synonymous with Finnish glass art and with Iittala. Alvar Aalto created the Aalto vase in various shapes, sizes and colours for Iittala for the World Fair in Paris in 1937. It is exhibited in some of the world’s most influential design museums. The fluid shapes are said to derive from the Finnish landscape and its lakes.This vase in new grey is also available in a stunning shade of pink or emerald green, clear, which will look great with any flora and fauna arrangements or simply standing alone.
