Fritz Hansen Lighting Orient Black P1 pendant lamp was originally designed in 1963 by Jo Hammerborg and is one of his many classic designs of the 60's and 70's. Fritz Hansen Lighting, in collaboration with the Hammerborg's, have revamped and bought this iconic design back into production.

The new design features 2 finishes, matt black in 3 sizes and solid copper in 2, both with the addition of a rosewood top where the cord enters. Both finishes works simply with the rosewood to really bring out the grain. This sleek, simple and timeless design will work in many interior styled homes, especially above dining tables and as a statement piece in living areas and kitchens.

The light is predominantly downwards but there are slots in the top of the shade that will filter some light outwards and upwards.
