Originally used in Japanese ceramics from their rich heritage, Sekki stoneware bowls this traditional technique using clay. The unglazed dyed stoneware adds a tactile and slightly course texture to the finish offering a contrast between the sleek pure lines and the warmth of natural materials. The depth of the rust colouring accentuates this simple and pure style and the elevated circular foot of the bowls give them a lightness and floating expression.
